Okay so after days and days of work on her, I am proud to present the final WIP of my mod, it turned out to be quiet modern looking so I changed the name from Desert Operative to Omega Black Agent (Idea comes from her Delta Red stories). It is safe to say that she is the only female so far that got my highest modding attention, I did a lot of work on this mod. I hope you like it, now I only need a bit more polishing before I release this.
Also there are a couple of small surprises that I will release with it.
so everything is rigged from scratch though it is not something like your zangief krogan mod because I am just dressing up Cammy not creating a new character so your mod is definitely more difficult. I am also planning to do some AE to SFxT mods conversion instead of full rigging for sometime because it requires a lot of work and patience and outfits like these cause a lot mesh deformation issues so even after rigging you'll have to fix those deforms. I did a lot of manual weight painting in blender for this outfit, almost made me a painter lol
Yea I've come to find even simple mods can be difficult to rig especially when using outsourced object files. I miss the days of simple texturing mods. Sfxt doesn't really allow for that to the extent which I like since allot of my textures see high Res and look shitty with custom colours. I still don't use blender weight paint so I feel my miss sometimes lack that finished quality you and Khaled have. Custom painting is fun
Yes bro rigging is never easy. Takes a lot of time and trial and error technique. And like you said working with SFxT textures is very difficult compared to SF4AE, it is one of the factor that makes SFxT modding quiet tiring.
I encourage you to try manual weight painting in blender, it teaches you a lot about bones and how they work. Also it is necessary to remove deforms that happen after weight transfer method.

Hope you like it.
